Adan Abbey, President of Horn of Africa Insurance today delivered the opening keynote address at the 5th Annual African Insurance Forum in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The conference was attended by insurance executives from across the continent and featured discussions on some of the most pressing issues in the African Insurance Industry. In his remarks, Mr. Abbey said “We cannot have a conversation about increasing insurance penetration in Africa without also addressing the needs of those at the lower end of the financial pyramid…the numbers are just there.”
